Saturday is a great day to spend some time outside. This is the day I love to dedicate to cardio!
I like to do interval jogging or running.
45 Min run
Jog to warm up for a mile. Maybe run to a park or school that has a track.
Then:
Sprint from light pole to light pole, walking and catching your breath in-between.
Don’t try to only take a few seconds if you are going for an All Out sprint. If you give yourself a few minutes (2-3) then you will be able to give an all out effort on those sprints. Being able to give 100% effort can be more efficient than giving 50% due to little rest.
After about 20 min of sprinting (around 5-10 sets)
Jog 1 mile to cool down or jog home
